Looked at the footage from Luke. His feet were both facing the same direction on the footage. I'm not saying that it's not bad just that I disagree with your backward foot report.

It's a shame...........he's almost out of time to show something and from what I'd read it seems he was beginning to look a bit more likely in pre-season training and praccy matches.

As long as it's someone on the primary list or a category A rookie a replacement player can be selected in the mid-season rookie draft. Last year we placed Aiden Begg (who was on the rookie list) on the inactive list, and brought in another player (Long and Smit came in for Murphy and Begg).

Hopefully the injury isn't that bad, as putting a player on the inactive list means he's unable to play for the rest of the year. No matter what, it's incredibly bad luck for the bloke, as he obviously needed a big year to keep his AFL career going. It's bad luck for us as well, as it weakens our depth, so it's quite a shame all round.

Depending how bad the break is but it could possibly take 4 months + to return to actually playing again, particularly if he requires surgery...
