Excited to see the new look VFL team on Saturday at Vic Park. If the seniors win on Friday night, there will be a buzz around the lovely old ground. A few players and coaches usually turn up too.

And if the twos win - I can’t think of a better way to spend a weekend.

Curtis is injured (archilles soreness), and so is Bennetts (hamstring) but otherwise pretty close.
We'll see tomorrow when the teams release.

Mason is going to make a big difference to the VFL team if he plays a lot of it this year. He's a really dominant VFL player.

Agree, our emerging mid-fielders should really benefit from having first use - and the forwards will get some 1:1 chances - last year it seemed to me that most centre bounce contests ended up with our half back line under centre clearance pressure.

13 AFL listers, which means 10 VFL. One of them would have to be one of the youngsters from coates league for the 23rd man. Could be Murphy.

Even though he would be the holdover, the fact the vfl play tomorrow will help. He could play.
