He's been on the TV as a part of a number of different interviews and he looks like he's definitely interested.

Said we have a 'very good list, and a very good club' or something like that.

Interesting. Thought he categorically rejected it according to 'the Rucc'

Wallace will do what Ayres failed to do over the last few years and play youngsters and keep them in regardless of how well they are performing to mould them into a position.

You do have a very good list. I like the look of your youngsters. I think you'll find a lot of coach's will be after the Adelaide job.

I saw Wallace on TV tonight and he did say we had a good list.

The important thing he said was that he would wait until the end of the year to see what coaching positions become available.

Do not get too keen on him coming to AFC.

If things between Mr Sheedy and EFC go sour, I reckon the Bombers would become his first preference.

On his regular 3AW segment when heavily questioned would not commit either way.

Said the interim coach should be given an opportunity, and if there is a vacancy at the end of the year he will consider it.

Reading between the lines he appears to definately want to coach again.
Which club is still very much in the air.

Not a snowflakes chance in hell of Sheedy not being with Essendon - he wants games coaching record with one club, a club he has more affinity with now than Richmond.

I see your point and you may well be right. There's a fair chance you could be. However what Sheedy wants and what EFC wants may become two different things. I guess we'll know in October.

If Essendon finish in top 6, I think the chances of supporters supporting a move for change by the board would be fairly remote.

Having seen Wallace talking on Fox Footy, it warmed the cockles of my heart to hear him say that he was interested in the Adelaide coaching position.

IMO he's the right man in the right place at the right time.

Michaelangelo Rucci really p*ssed me off on White Line Fever tonight saying that Neil Craig was the rightful short priced favourite to become afelaide's next FT coach, subject to a successful auditioning over the next few weeks.

Expect to get a barrage of such rubbish from Rucci over the next few weeks, starting tomorrow.

Fortunately, Rucci has a lot less information than he pretends to have. I heard him on SEN radio this morning telling them that the press conference was to announce that Ayres was going to be re-appointed. Less than 30 minutes later, he had to come back on and say that the players had just been told of Ayres imminent departure.

Bad guessing Michaelangelo, bad guessing.

He'll be wrong about Craig too. Adelaide couldn't afford to appoint an unproven coach who is part of the failed brigade.

Macca, you are right on at least most counts - hopefully you are correct on all counts.

Adelaide will be just what Wallace is looking for...he wants a good list therefore, that puts Richmond definitely out of the equation, they have way too much baggage.

While at the Doggies barring his last year or so, he was definitely exciting with all of his innovations and ideas. He would be a good pick up for you.

There's a fine line between a good coach and a great coach who can win a premiership. Ayres was a good coach and the AFC need a great one.

...now the AFL shuffle begins

Ayres to Hawthorn
Wallace to Adelaide
Eades to Richmond
Rhode hanging on by the fingernails
Frawley and Schwab to the junk heap

Terry Waalace is a ***** and will do only what is best for Terry Wallace. He was finished in as a player and would never have had opportunities had it not been for the Bulldogs. He cost us a Grand Final berth with an ordinary display of Coaching against the Crows in 97.......

People think he acheived a lot with an ordinary list when in fact he under achieved with a fine list. Look at some of the players he has let go......Stephen Powell (just last week BOG for the saints) Brett Montgomery (B & F and All Australian with Port)

Remember he still had a two years to run on a 4 year contract.....

Terry Wallace is selfish and god helps the club that ends up with him.....

Will stand by his commitment to the club? Will he be doing deals with other clubs, will convince key players to leave once his tenure is up......He is a massive risk.

How do you respond to some-one with no perspective or objectivity?.

1) AFL is a business - sorry all individuals must look after there own interests. Tell me the players and paid administators of the Bulldogs don't do the same.

2)Ordinary coaching display on your say so? How many AFL games have you coached or played????
Maybe he was outcoached on the day - it happens to good players who can also be beaten on a particular day.

3) Read comments on this board to see the diverse opinions on the strengths & weaknesses of an AFL list. Who says your right?

4) comments re commitments, backroom deals and player cohersion are I think a figment of your wild imagination and unsustainable.

The Bullies lacked KPP with the exception of Grant. Powell & Monty are fair players, but he got the most out of the Bullies as they weren't the most talented squad going around (though neither were the Crows ;) ).

If you're not prepared to invest a little reason and common sense, please don't bother to post.

Chris Grant in 1996 springs to mind as an example of what I am talking about.

2)Ordinary coaching display on your say so?

Not just my view. Ask some experts. Blight kicked his butt.

How many AFL games have you coached or played????

What a stupid retort to my comment. How many games have you played or coached? About the same as me no doubt. If that is the criteria their would be no BF forum.

Maybe he was outcoached on the day - it happens to good players who can also be beaten on a particular day.

He was out coached. I agree. He wasn't smart enough to combat Blight's move.

I am not saying I am right, it is just my view. I don't expect everybody to agree buddy.

4) comments re commitments, backroom deals and player cohersion are I think a figment of your wild imagination and unsustainable.

His commitment was for four years and he wanted out after two.
The rest maybe a figment of my imagination but only time will tell. If he ends up coaching Richmond maybe you'll be a step closer to maybe thinking their was something in my comment.
