Every fan base thinks their team has horrible fade outs. Every single one. That was a horrendous result we never should have lost, absolutely. But to constantly pot shot a coach who time and time again puts us in position to win, while offering no alternative and no suggestions, is getting old.

He threw McGovern forward today like you wanted. We mixed things up at the coal face. McInnes losing his head, guys taking an eternity with someone on their hammer, how are these coaching issues? He can’t kick the footy for them.

Who would you like to replace Simmo of the available coaching pool?

I wouldn't say it's that bad. I think we were definitely better than against Essendon but not good enough. Vardy kicked 2 today so maybe give him a shot. So disappointing but not expected.

No forward line & playing a smattering of first year players who were always going to dip around the midpoint of the season? That’s my ‘excuse’.

We had a cracking start to the season, and the dip in the first year players should have been covered over with JD & JK but they’re both out so them being down on form is showing up more.

It’s a bad month of footy, I’m confident we’ll still make finals but geez we’re going to need to play champagne footy to make it all the way.

Bit of truth in this. Our smaller/ forwards are very inexperienced and not the stars some make them out to be. I suspect they don't have the fitness to stop the run of half back/wings later. It was all easy run down the middle in the last by the crows.
Sadly Big Fraz's dumb kick under no pressure in the last was the nail in the coffin. Should have set up a goal but ignored the obvious offers. Give him credit for effort but he isn't an AFL player.

Obviously things look really bad atm, but it's not all lost, once JK and Darling (and Barass) are back we should be able to get enough wins to make the 8, but top 4 looking more and more unlikely now. We should be able to get at least 3-5 wins and still finish with 13-9 to 15-7. Gonna wait at least a few more weeks before I start panicking lol.

yep, if he had played back all game. But he was fwd, they got in front, and then when we needed goals they threw him back. No point stemming the tide when u need 3 goals to win.

As bad as that last quarter was we are still second but will most likely drop to third tomorrow. Season is not over but we have to get back to the footy we played against Richmond. The season starts again next week.

Thank you - a voice of reason. It's nice to pretend that inuries don't affect a team but they do. Get Barrass, JD and JK back in the team and we'll be top 4. I was bloody frustrated at that game but was very happy with the effort and coaching changes that nearly won it. Young forwards ran out of steam in the 4th and stopped leading, so the ball got jammed in defence. End of story.
