Now I'm being scurrilous by using the injury prefix.

But if someone wants to give me 20-1 that Duncan has done a groin, then I'm good for $500.
Cannot kick over a jam tin lid.

MOD EDIT - Not really an injury thread so title changed to Analysis. If injury details are brought to light it will be reassessed.

Ive said it all season bar his first few weeks. His disposal stats have improved but the efficiency has gone down hill. He's been cactus this season, very little influence in what he's good at - pin point forward entries and transition. We need him fit.

Has always kicked like a millionaire.
No way. I would have listed him in the top 3 kicks at the club from 50 on the run.

He struggles to kick 35 now.
He's looking for the handball at every opportunity.

As someone who did a groin. I know that running in straight lines isn't an issue. And you can see it's not to him.

We need a replacement. Right now.

So the coaching staff are playing a bunch of easy beats and will be playing finals, possibly even get a double chance but they are risking the health of one of their best outside runners for the sake of it?
No thanks.

Duncan is just an also-ran and nothing more. He was touted as being the next big thing at the Cattery as late as last year but we are witnessing what he truly is and unfortunately, it's the same people who look for excuses to explain his somewhat unconvincing career trajectory.

There is absolutely something NQR, last week he had a set shot from 45 and barely made the distance, and he's my 'put down the glasses' player in our side within 50..

Damn, I thought you had me on ignore.
Tip. No one rates what you say.

I reckon OP.
The kind of injury that requires surgery post season but can be "managed" and perform about 90% without it.
You may be right. But if I'm right, no team will care about him kicking it.

I'm not so critical of his kicking as his marking. The number of grabs he nearly takes (but ultimately drops) is driving me bonkers. At least another 2 in our forward 50 today. Caddy is not much better but he has the excuse of having his first game back from a spell.

You may know more, is OP close to doing a groin? Similar kind of injury?
I wasn't really going against what you said, actually more so expanding on it and the clubs stance, if he does have an OP injury you can manage it a bit and continue to play, albeit at a reduced level, or else it's surgery and season over.
Judd had similar a few times and it killed his kicking.

Is displaying the classic signs of OP.

As VC said his lateral movement is to a point of being non-existent currently and for someone who has been statistically the best kick in the AFL for the past for years he has no penetration at present I think his max range is somewhere near Stokes range 35m and closer, anything further and he just can't do it.

How far out was he in the "beer goggles" CatsTV segment? He made decent purchase and made the distance easily. Just can't recall the distance out from goal.

Yeah must have a leg issue. His biggest asset to us by far was his kicking and now he's looking to handball? Must have a problem.

Yeah?
Probably why he's the best kick in the AFL then?

Really? Best in the whole competition?

He is a good kick, kicking like a millionaire doesn't mean that he isn't.

I've been consistent on this for a few years. He can be lazy and try and be too cute with his kicking. Get's chopped off or smothered a lot.

Mackie used to do exactly the same.
