Can't exactly remember his name, but he played around 20 games this year, kicking 30 odd goals, over 150 marks, 20 plus goal assists, 40 tackles, i'd suggest that stats like these says he can play..........Point being that if Chris Tarrants name was Billy Smith, who wore number 47, there would be zero trade discussion. We might not win a flag with him, but we CAN'T win one without him.

Clarke even has the ability to get the in and under ball at the centre bounce, evade all will-be-tacklers, kick forward and run down and take a contested grab in front of goal from his own clearance. He will kick 100 easy, and make tarrant surplus to requirements.

I know, some are saying you can't mark your own kick. But I have word the rules are currently being looked into to include the 'clark rule'.

I don't think tarrant is a dud like opp supporters are suggesting but he is not nearly as good as you or some of our own are suggesting. If we can get a great deal for him I have now warmed to the idea of trading him. I think rusling may be able to play a similar role(may take a year or 2) and probably has a bit more between the ears. I won't be dissapointed if we keep him but I won't be crying if he goes either. Those stats are ok but stats don't always tell the full story . He had he good impact in about 5 games and the rest was pretty average.
I also think Tarrant would benifit from going to another team that will deliver the ball better and a team that is no in the spotlight as much. He could still have some good footy left but I am starting to think our club might not be the best option for him
