The Douglas comparison is concerning.
He's a lot more athletic than Douglas, and more pacy. Can see where people get the comparisons, though.
If he had pale skin and red hair, there would be no comparison.
He looks like a good prospect and I hope his skills are decent. I'll wait to see him play before I comment there.

Interestingly AFL Draft Central liken Poholke to Douglas. (This was prior to selection in their draft profiles) Many forget how good Dougsie was and only think about how he performed when played out of position this year.
Also they compared Davis to McGovern.... which I really like. Interestingly Haggis tentatively compared Poholke to Thommo. I thought more Sloane-ish due to overhead marking and toughness.

Remember it will be Gallucci plus our first round player next year before we can compare to Gibbs. That helps me sleep better.

Is it a surprise Brisbane chased Berry, given Brisbane are devoid of leaders .......Noble being ex Adelaide, that highly value leadership in first round draftees ....good choice for Brisbane

I'd call it self-confidence, but yes I can see where you're coming from. Has confidence in his own abilities on the field, which is a good thing.

Not sure ...it was just an impression left with me ....guess we expect 18 Year olds to be a bit shy, not good at interviews, and Gallucci came across as a 75 game player in the interview below ......most young players in interviews have their head slighly downward , Gallucci has his head level / upwards ......body language
