West Coast - time for a rebuild?

Eagles will probably still make finals if they win 11 games because the sides they're competing with for spots are inconsistent and will take points off each other. I think they'll lose to Brissy (and maybe Melbourne, depending on which Melbourne shows up). I can't see them losing the Derby or losing to Collingwood, so if they beat the Saints this week, you'd just about pencil them in.

Having Seven West Media, by far the biggest media outlet in WA, as a principle partner probably doesn't hurt either. That's of course not to say the shambolic way FFC is run deserves positive media coverage, it doesn't. But lets not pretend Seven West media is a bastion of impartiality.

I'm not pretending they have, they've been on balance, a poorly run shambles.

7 West Media is a 3rd tier sponsor to Freo, a token really. They are a major sponsor, a Principle Partner with WC. I'm not being critical of 7 West for their position either, it would be a serious error of judgement in the Perth market for them flip and become be a minor sponsor of WC, and a principle partner to Freo.
