If you were in charge of fixtures at AFL HQ, who would you have to start Round 1 of the 2020 AFL season?

You don't want to give away too many huge matches because it'll be hype as it's round 1. But you need a few and I reckon there's some good match ups here.

Personally I think the Premiership team should start the season a week before hand and play the AA team from the year before. If I was in charge, the match-ups would be pulled out of a hat, rather than doctored by the AFL
But what if the some of the AA players are in the premiership team?Personally I think the Premiership team should start the season a week before hand and play the AA team from the year before.
Play it on a Friday or Saturday night a great tune up for all players involved with any $$$ made out of the game to be giving to a nominated charity.
Just hopefully Mr AFLX $75k man makes himself unavailable for the game.
Bit hard to play Essendon in round 1 considering we will be playing them on Good Friday a few weeks later
Change them for the next best for those positionsBut what if the some of the AA players are in the premiership team?

Good round for crowds, and plenty of interesting games.Townsville would be a good place to open up the season for North Queensland. Not a boring start like this season. This is just one of the many round 1 thoughts that i have.
