My missus is a massive Swans fan, so this is the first time '11 that neither of our teams will be in it. So we're just going to actually relax at home over what will probably become a coupla bottles of red.

About time you returned the favor after she's sat through so many of ours lol
She paid $2k in 2008 to guarantee a ticket and have a boozy day. She put $10 away a week since then as a Tiger fund and Now there is no ability to get similar packages.

So I wanted to shout her a huge day, hotel etc nut she just wants a quiet one ha

It's that time of year again...

Where will you be watching? Who here is lucky enough to be at the G?

I'll watch with a mate at Yarra Park, at the Fox Footy thing they have outside the G. Usually pretty decent atmosphere and you can march with the fans/spectators and hear some of what is going on from outside.
In my favourite AFL suburb

At home.
Have to work at 5 so i'll listen to the last bit on the radio in the car.
Unless of course Richmond are winning then i'll turn it off in disgust.
Hopefully turn on to Crows chant going around stadium

Breaking news, woman changes her mind! :)

Last Chance Tavern in South Hedland.. I've wangled the boss into letting me take my RDO on Saturday and it's just around the corner from my camp.
A big screen to watch and skimpies serving the beer, it should be a great day..

I live in Sydney, support the Crows maniacally obsessively passionately - sometimes to the point of self-destruction.
Considering flying to Melbourne to watch with some friends. Which pub/venue in Melbourne will have a passionate (but not too 'rough') crowd - ideally mainly Crows supporters? thanks all

Was planning on going to an Aussie bar in Kanchanaburi, about 60kms east of my abode, but since receiving an invite from the Dalai Lama, I've decided to go with him to Elvis's pad on the outskirts of Katmandu.....Gotta hurry, my rickshaw ride to the airport awaits.
