Just out of curiosity, why was it dropped? I thought the video footage of him pushing the ump away was pretty damning.

Speaking of Fraser Brown, someone rang 3AW after the game and said he tried to climb the wire fence in the race to have a go at an Essendon supporter.

Eagle_Fan seems that the ump changed his mind after seeing video that Dunkely pulled on Abrahm causing him to lose balance and stumble, the ump was in the way and he just put his hand out as an instinctive act to stop from falling over.
Seeing that it was an accident the case was thrown out.

Grendel, it didn't look like that on the tv, but I s'pose the ump was closer than us. Still seems a bit double standards-ish. IMO he should have at least fronted the tribunal.

Jaffa, apparrantly someone tried to punch Brown as he walked up the race and he took exception to it (seems he prefers dishing it out to recieveing it).

Brown should have got 8 - 6 for the coward act, and 2 for the wrestling charges

If the Abraham incident went to the tribunal then he would become a scapegoat and would have been penalised harshly.

It would have been one of those 'set the example' decisions.

Good to see an umpy using his discretion for once.
