Taz is the obvious out, but beyond that there's no guarantees.

But surely Paine can not play, we can't go with four tall forwards (Cloke, Dawes, Paine and the resting ruck), so you would think he will go out also.

That leaves Seedsman and Sinclair to fight out the final spot, I'd go with Seedsman in a defensive role, he has extreme pace and could go with one of the quick Carlton smalls, plus he's been the sub twice, it's time he got a full run (even though he came on early last week).

Great to see Wood in, I thought we needed him this week especially against Carlton's talls.:)

Yep, they're the ins I was hoping for/expecting.

So Sinclair for sure, Taz for sure, and it will either be Paine or Seedsman.

Who? It depends. Dry weather (expecting 25 degrees tomorrow), maybe go tall and stretch their defense given Jamison is playing.

Because Seedsman being kept in and being the sub again achieves nothing.

Might as well keep Paine in and make Fas or Blair the sub.

I'd actually consider dropping Seedsman/Sinclair and playing Paine as the sub. Then would look to sub off Wood late in the game and play a three tall forward structure (Paine plays a bit shorter anyway) and let Jolls ruck the rest of the game out on his own, provided he's given enough of a rest throughout..

Bit Harsh for Paine but He is the Odd One Out and Cloke and Dawes have Earned to play together and see how they work

I like this idea it breaks up the structure the only downside is if we loose a runner during the game and the word around is that the Fas is in for a hard night from the filth.

We seemed to lack run last week in the last quarter and whilst Wellers can run the other two are not runners eventhough Goldie will probably play wing with Maxy back.

The lack of run might have also been Seedsman being on a 1/4 time.

whoever provides the mst forward pressure will get picked between Seedsman, Pain and Sinclair. Most likely whoever it is will be the sub anway

Three very good ins. Next few weeks we will get Didak, N Brown, Ben Johnson and we will just about have a full list (except Krak and Caff obviously).

Let's say Taz, Paine and Sinclair out, we have 17 premiership players tomorrow, with three more to come soon. It's all taking shape:D

Buckley said that Brown will have the next 3 or 4 in the VFL
Yeah, Nate's no where near it yet, I've always said ANZAC day was the earliest, but with the short break between both the VFL and AFL games that weekend, I don't think it's a realistic option.

I think we'll see Brown against the Dogs in round 6 if he continues injury free over the next few weeks in the VFL.

I'd bring Didak straight back in next week, especially against a lesser opponent in Port, he needs to get back to the pace of senior football, not VFL football.

Ben Johnson is a strange one for me, he looked great in the VFL last week, yet still he can't get a game ahead of one of Sinclair/Seeds/Paine.

But this is where the sub rule sucks,:thumbsd: we don't want to make BJ the sub, because we want him to get miles in his legs.

Surely neither would be the Sub ..................................

You don't need to have Premiership players to have your Best Side out there

Certainly not the worst idea. Jack Gunston did pretty well against us playing that exact role in round 1. He did not have an impact against the Cats but he was on for about 5-10 minutes.

Yeah I know but no doubt that with our injuries we haven't had our best side out on the park. It's just a figure showing that we will get close to our best side soon. I know that Taz, Krak etc are in our best 22 but aren't premiership players.

Thought they weren't allowed to comment on team lineups until Timmy on 7 news.
They're just not allowed to list the team, saying who comes in is OK.

Anyway, I thought Johnson would return, so it will be interesting to see which player is left in the sid and who the sub will be.

Agreed, don't think Jacko Paine is that dissimilar to Gunston either... and the Cats game was in pouring rain also.
