That Kerr strike was epic, momentum was stamped out shortly after with some poor defending though, Kerr’s chance after that just had to go in.

Disappointing result, great effort overall though, England just too good.

Disappointing game, very nervy defence switched off too often. Bottled plenty of chances with over/underhit passes.

As well as our defenders sh1tting the bed England’s midfielders were superior in skill and system. Lass with blonde ponytail Daly absolutely bullied our girls. Class above.

Good effort overall to make the semis. Be nice to finish on the podium with a win over Sweden.

Finished with a 4th place in a World Cup , probably fair enough . Outplayed by England, Sweden shows how the European countries have gone past us . Still it was fun up until the last 2 matches. Heart says Spain , head says England, just hope for a good game .

We were ranked 10ish coming in? 4th overall is a great result, despite the disappointment of the last 2 games. We seemed physically and mentally cooked tonight and Wednesday - needed some more rotations in the squad. The rope-a-dope counterattack style also much riskier against good sides like England and Sweden who really controlled the ball well.

Still a bloody fun ride along the way.
