its all about saving money just like the push for four day tests its all done by broadcasters and the boards to lower costs that it also pisses off the people who buy the products that they make their advertising money from doesn't matter to them or the ICC.

Seems ridiculous that there isn’t a reserve day so these teams aren’t robbed of the opportunity to win.

If it’s rained out twice then obviously that would be it.

It's nice that there are still people around expecting proper planning with such things from cricket councils globally.

Limited not just in overs.

First rained out match of the tournament, probably won't be the last. Makes things extra tough for Pakistan.
Geoff Lemon and Adam Collins on the Final Word Podcast were saying that because of Pakistan's horrendous NRR from the Windies game that the point is actually good for Pakistan as they were never going to finish above a team on the same points as them anyway.

If it was a rained out game vs india or australia i could buy that but it's against a side that should have lost their last match to Afghanistan it's a huge miss for pakistan, also a big win vs SL would have boosted their run rate anyway.

Like frank says, SL was a side they could get a big win against.
