whatever the deal trading Kerr makes good sense. He is not at his zenith (we should have traded him last year to Carlton in return for pick 6 or whatever Carlton's was and that way we already would have Rich who can handle a tag as he has already shown this season) but will still represent an attractive proposition for someone (the same as Hansen did for WB last year when they would have swapped Ray for him!). Whoever said that the whole point of a good trade is one where both sides are getting a good deal was right on the money (ie we can't hope to get something good unless we give up something good) - we are better off investing in youth because our window is still a few years away and next year we need early draft picks because of the skinny nature of the draft and the two years after the draft will be absolutely gutted. As they say when you are playing the sharemarket - take your profit and leave something in there for the next bloke - Kerr helped deliver us a premiership, let him help Carlton try to do the same becaue they are far closer than us.

Children isn't what we need. Kerr's form is down because he doesn't have the backup he used to have.

As soon as we really start hitting our straps in the middle, Kerr will be fantastic. Either way, he takes the number 1 tagger every week and thats just as good for our younger players.

Do it! sooner the better. Should've have been done last year, Kerr's best footy is behind him.

I think most people agree with this. The question is, will Kerr be physically able to get back to his peak when the kids are able to give him some backup (at 18 months to two years) or will his body be falling apart from the fisting he's getting at the moment (as well as his general style of play)?

See no sence in giving Kerr to Carlton.
Swap to Melbourne for no 2 selection in draft.
We would then pick up Moribito and Lucas.

Agree.
Can you imagine Carlton- Judd, Kerr, Murphy, Gibbs
NO NO NO
Unless you want to give Carlton a premiership.
Melbourne for pick 2 is the best option cause then you know nothing will back fire against us.

This trade idea IS !! stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerr will very soon again prove he is the best midfielder in the competition.

Kerr is a very good midfielder when firing. But he never was the best and never will be the best going around.

Time to take off the West Coast sunnies I think.
