Generally the basic look is a lot better, with a much more contemporary feel than the last one. Chunkier graphics make clutter more of an issue, a lot for the eye to take in. Font resizing is not a pretty picture. The usability is not great but there are some nice features in there.

The gratuitous Telstra advertising is bordering on the offensive. Raising revenue at the expense of devaluing the AFL brand seems a very short-sighted strategy, looks more like a used car sales lot than the website of a professional sporting body.

Comparisons with other elite sporting administration websites from around the world make it seem pretty cheap and tacky.

Is it awesome for overseas visitors. I don't know where it is getting the current time from, I've tried setting my system clock, but no matter what I do it still believes that the Port vs Crows game is going to kick off in over 6 hours (the match is over)...

I can't see live scores, or the result on the website - all I can see is a stupid clock counting down to when the game starts.

For anybody from another timezone who is smarter than me - and has figured out a way around this - please let me know
