Is $100 the standard deposit for new consoles now? That put me off on preordering a scorpio edition

Traded in my launch Xbox One and got a One S yesterday. EB had a deal One S+3 games for $349 and got it for $150 after the trade in and some cash I saved up.

Yeah I left it pretty late but I'm stoked now although controller that came with it seems faulty.

The plastic grip on the right side is loose and you can hear clicking in place also the buttons feel like they get stuck and the controller just cuts out randomly and doesn't respond.

Wondering if EB will change it or i have to send it in to MS

EB will change it. They can take a controller from the shelf out of the box and switch it that way. That's what we did when I worked at a competitor.

Changed my controller.

No hassles just showed them the receipt and gave me one from a box.

XB1 games are really good, a good month.

The games they have been offering on XBL havent been good of late but this month looks ok, watched a couple of videos on youtube of oxenfree, looks decent and will def pick that up

Might even pick up Forza and Battlefield 3 as well

Must say that's not a bad deal by EB basically get $200 off the price if you trade in you Xbox One S.

The X comes out a week and a bit after AC Orgins gets released.

Want to play the new AC game but don't think I can hold out for a week and a bit to play it on the X haha.
