Spot on here Dubai, talked it up last pre season with Petterson & Francis neither played the year out. Good recruiting?? They're a great bunch of guys and have done well at consolidating there position in div 2 after there 2014 flag. There coming from a fair way back though and talks of a flag are ridiculous. Its only early but the dogs would have to be red hot favourites followed by the other bears Lower Plenty. Can only hope its a more competitive comp than last year. Some ordinary games in the second half of the year.

Need to take the next step the Bears and stop talking a good game. Those 2 guys didnt work out for them plus another few from edfl and wrfl seemed to fail. Good culture just need the right blokes to top off list plus some young talent. Matt Vas is the key. Gun mid they need

Fact is Oak Park are not the team they were when running round in EDFL Premier a few years back so these guys they are picking up whilst might be handy would be hardly world beaters perhaps apart from Bloomfield who has had more clubs than Tiger Woods. We have heard it b4 with Thomo & I wish them well, they are not a bad club but being active in recruiting does not get u over the line as other contenders are doing the same. Remember pre-season 2016 & all the talk, were very disappointing in the second half of the year.

Heard today from a very reliable source that one of the cashed up committee people at Thomo have been talking to Dane Swan. Dane Swan is somehow going to be involved in Thomo next season. Swannys old man and this person are long time mates and played together in the 70's . Might even be related to each other some how. They were pretty confident of Swanny being there next season.
