For eagles im going off what ive heard, personally I wouldn't take Allen with your first but that's all the noise atm.

I am not sure if you are factoring in Academy bidding or not.

Ballenden at 39 means our pick 41 (pick 40 got pushed back one spot from the F/S matched bid on Naish) is used to match the bid. Not only that, there should be some residual points left over from pick 41 to create a residual pick later on. (A bid at 39 needs means we need 249 points after discount to match, pick 41 is worth 412 points = 163 points left over = residual pick 59)

So we should still have picks at 45, 53 & 59 after matching the Ballenden bid.

So we should have a draft pick at 45 where GWS is matching a bid on Shipley. And then most likely picking up Jack Payne at pick 53, and passing on 59.

Bombers’ selections were seriously “Off Broadway”. Not saying they aren’t deserving, just not discussed in the lead up (at least on this board) as far as I’m aware.

Matthew Day (Oakleigh) and Ethan Floyd (Geelong) missing out were both surprises for mine.

Xerri was talked about early then dropped off, I thought that was an interesting selection.
What are your thoughts on Podhajski and Landt being picked as rookies?

Xerri had a really strong finish to season.

Played 3 games for Werribee and played his best TAC game last round against Cannons.

I personally think injury free he's in for a big year.

I've litterely watched him twice, I see some similarities to Worpel who I like but I figured those types despite really going in hard and getting the ball still tend to slide.

Valente is among plenty of good players not in my top 30 I currently have a list of over 100 I've seen and admittedly the top 30 I put up was done rather quickly it's hardly an in depth ranking as of yet

If he's fit I think he can work into the top 20. Just depends on if he can get on the park. His kicking could improve but he ticks more boxes than Jarrod and I know speaking to Shaun Kelly when I said I rated Tom above Jarrod he agreed. Which is more to say how good Tom could be rather than dismissing Jarrod.

Had one of those niggling groin injuries this year. The ones that seem close to returning but then have setbacks. He's clearly good to go next season but I'm mostly referring to if he cops another bout of that or something because he was unlucky this season.

You are certainly ahead of the curve with this one DPS. Certainly can't disagree with your top 5 or any of it for that matter. Where do you see West and Fletcher going? I think Fletcher needs to improve to make the top 60, he had some OK games this year but was 2 meters behind the ball most of the time. Another one would be Browning, he could be one to watch. I understand Hanna and Riccardi have been invited back by the Cannons.

Didn't mind the look of Browning, at times lacked some speed and class but I need to go back and have a look at some of his games because it's been awhile since I saw him last.

Keen to see Riccardi knuckle down one position all year

I'm no expert but just alot of good players this year both kings, lukosious and rankine then another great group which hill seems apart of.
