Bondy's role has increased so we might not need to replace him?
Might need to replace Bond though, I think he is no longer an assistant but I'm sure he'll still have a role on match day.

Daniher would have been very nice to have back. I'd suggest we look outside the Essendon sphere, though. Maybe we can approach Robert Walls?

Not surprising given his wife is there and Rosich is revamping the footy dept under Bond. We probably were top heavy management wise.
Perhaps theres a position for Shaw heading up an enhanced Melbourne Office including drafting, sponsorship etc??

Just a bit off topic here but...i was just wondering if we had a ruck coach?? i was talking to a friend over the weekend and he seems to think we are one of the few teams who dont have one,

I've got a sneaking suspicion that Jacko will turn up as an assistant coach in some capacity. Lately he hasn't been slagging us off as much and whenever I catch a taxi with PR on when quizzed about his future he seems keen on an assistant role and says he won't be leaving perth he seems very coy about it.

God I hope not. If our players aren't confused already, they certainly will be with him. I've heard this rumour a couple of times too, but I simply can't find where he fits in? Scott has the backline, Wallis the forwards and German the midfield. Do our assistants need assistants now? I'm hoping he gets the gig at Souths.

Best news i have heard all day. There goes another part of the Essendon conenction and an A Grade wanktstick @ that. Look what he done @ Adelaide and Fitzroy, he is the most hated man ever at the AFC and i'm glad hes gone.
Now all the Essendon people we have left are Wallis, Solly, Kepler, Prior and Harvey.

I wouldnt mind the idea of Jacko @ all. Hes stupid as all hell but as a defensive coach could do the job fine IMO.
Hes a Freo boy too which helps.

So what do we do with Chris Scott? He's intelligent, doing a good job as defensive coach and has a contract? He's a Freo boy by my reckoning too - he's got one year up on Slappo at the FFC.

The Scott boys aren't from WA. Hows he a Freo boy???
And FWIW he is doing a sterling job with that backline, its about as leaky as an old hose @ the moment.

So Pav isn't a Freo person? This 'Freo person' crap is just that - crap. Do you consider yourself a Freo person wiz? You're not a WA person IIRC, so how can you be a Freo person?
All reports suggest he's doing a good job with the young guys and he is very well respected. Show me a backline that's working well in any of the bottom 4 sides. He's had Grover, McPharlin and Hayden all missing at various stages throughout the year. He's done well with the resources available to him.
Especially as the midfield has, until the last few weeks, been comprehensively pantsed on a weekly basis...
