Worst player to play in a grand final??

Not actually sure if this has been done, but I am wondering who you think is the worst player to play in a AFL/VFL grand final (relatively modern day)?

I initially think back to the 03 pies team, although a few crackers in here I will nominate Key Forward Ben Kinnear with commiserations to Tristen Walker.

Matthew Lokan played in that side aswell, he is worthy of the title.

Aaron Keating - Adelaide 1997

Grand Final was his 3rd game and he went statless. Only played 3 more games in his career.

Matthew Lokan played in that side aswell, he is worthy of the title.

That was the first name that came to my mind aswell. Im sure thers been worse, but he was a shocker. LOL X2 for Ben Kinear!!

As bad as he is he did ok. 19 hit outs and 9 possessions. Gardiner had 8 touches and King had 5. So he was better then them. Plus he's got a medal around his neck. Beat that.

I like Cam but his position is "Angry man". He wouldn't make it as a forward in any other side, he is just there to bring the ball to ground so Johnno, Chapman and others can kick the vast majority of Geelong's score. He is a glorified brick wall.

Good luck to him but he is a seriously average player made to look passable by an awesome midfield.

Can't beleive the lack of Raph Clarke mentions. One of the worst displays I've seen on GF day. Couldn't even qualify anything he did as OK. Obviously you don't get all of it from watching it on TV, but what I saw was pretty bad.

Mark Athorn (or something like that) - Carlton 1993.

Milne's performance was close to one of the worst I have seen in a GF - can't say I wasn't expecting it though. Nearly wet myself laughing one he gave away that 50 by trying to hold onto the ball like the true scrubber he is.

Mario Bortolotto - 30 Games for the blues over three seasons - dual premiership player 81/82 and night premiership 1983. Mind you his performance in 1982 was probably the best game of his life playing on David Cloke at full back and keeping him to three goals.
