There is no chance that GWS will have signed all of those players. The reason is that to get any of them they'll have to be way over their true market value, which means that there goes their entire salary cap on 5 players.

scully is a very educated guess. the GWS CEO has already alluded to the fact that they have a heads of agreement with "a young player with the potential to be as good as gary ablett". it has also emerged in the last couple of days that scully has informed the dees that any discussions re his future are on hold. not that hard to put 2 + 2 together. in 2012 he could be a 20 yr old on 1 mil plus a year if GWS decide to market him as their marquee signing. pretty hard to resist for a young bloke i would have thought

If a Collingwood player has chosen to leave, it will be more than likely Thomas. He'll be good for brand awareness there & his contract will increase more than Swan & Pendlebury.
