2 good innings, in 5 matches opening. Plus the t20 innings opening....

Small sample size but his innings down the order have beench worse than opening....

The 45 was average at best, for anyone that watched it. It is early days but the signs aren't great with the bat. His keeping has been fine IMO.

Why? All his good innings have come from opening so far and he's not a big hitter like Haddin.

Wade can hit them just as big as Haddin, he is more natural in hitting the big shots whereas Haddin has to back away for his one.

So when will Warner be dropped? Clearly average in this format.

Also, time to go for a different keeper in Nevill? One that can actually keep and bat above state level?

Wade is going nowhere in the ODI format for a little while yet, get over it.

It really is ridiculous calling for Wades head at this stage.

Best available but he is going to need to convert an innings into a really good score if he's going to bat up the order.

His keepings been passable but he's still a little slow in securing the ball of the slower bowlers, keeps moving the hands back rather than moving them towards the stumps as he collects.

he stays but he needs to show his progress.

Is there anyone you like apart from Haddin?

Seriously dude
Did I say I didn't like him? Can you read English? I said he was a good player, but he is not suited to the ODI format. He would be the first to admit it, because he is not a fast scoring player.

Also.. when will they realise that Forrest although a good player, is not ODI material, unless he is batting in the Hussey role.

Forrest is making runs but someone needs to tell him that this is an ODI, not a test match.

He isn't batting that slow and also the 2 new balls has changed how quickly batsmen score early on.

Forrest is making runs but I'd love it if he could kick it up a notch. Batting a bit too slowly for ODI.

that was something people had latched onto even in his first innings i think. not rotating the strike as much as he needs to. in a way us losing early wickets means that he ends up with a free pass to go a bit slow. it will be interesting to see how he goes in better positions.

Why are people bagging Forrest? He's probably been our most consistent batsman since he was picked. He might not be a batsman who will go at a run a ball, but we've seen so far this series that big 300+ scores are hard to come by and not usually required.

I think that the main thing that Forrest needs to work on is rotating the strike by picking up singles. That will come with experience and batting with the likes of Clarke and the Hussey's will do him the world of good.

I wasn't bagging him, I just think he needs to lift it up a notch and stop leaving so many dot balls. A strike rate of 60 is a tad too low in ODI's for my liking, especially in Hobart.
