that's extremely wishful thinking on your behalf. What about a swap (upgrade for us) of both first and second round picks with WB for Bell.

Yet in the HUN this morning it was mentioned that Bell was promoted from the rookie list. (Sam Edmund)
I was at the B&F last night and there was no mention of a promotion for Bell.
Eddie and Garlett in the forward line are what sets us apart from other sides, why send our x factor packing after one bad season?or just garlett and curnow for their pick 6

Very odd argument. We need Oliver Wines. PERIOD. I just dont see him falling to our first pick (pick 11) in novembers national draft. Wines will be gone long before pick 11 unless we get lucky.![]()
If we trade Bell it will be the worst list management mistake we have ever made. Bell and casboult are the main two rookies we need to keep they can fill the two biggest holes on our list. Tuohy is a good player but we have other that can fill his roll. Curnow isn't in our best 22.

Doesn't mean they'll be giving them upYou do realise, bulldogs have 2 picks in the top 10 dont you?
Melbourne seem like they'll maybe lose Rivers. Would they agree to Bower + pick 33 for their pick 26?
We offload Bower and move up in the second round.

i like it. had a chat to Ellard last night on my way out of Crown and he's just such a top bloke though. boys at the club really like him and he's solid depth too.Im not against a couple of these sort of trades to free up list space.
Ellard and 52 to Freo for 37 ?
Don't know as a fact, but I do know that anything and everything will be said over the course of the next few weeks in order to gain some sort of advantage.
Whether that be by the players manager or the clubs and then we have every media outlets wanting to get a leg up over one another.
Sources:
Caddy may have well spoken to all the aforementioned clubs and hence that translates to "Caddy has nominated club X"
I was told that we have #11 on the table on Monday and that Caddy is keen to join us.
Now he may have well said the same to the other clubs for all we know.
At the end of the day with all things being equal, we have the best pick at #11 and if other clubs want to offer their second as well, then good for them.
We should just hang on to it and go hard at the draft.
EDIT:
Re. Geelong's compensation pick. What should that realistically be valued at? #12-#15?
Wouldn't GC be better off getting the pick for this year anyway in consideration of where their list is at?
They're rumoured to be using one to acquire Jack Martin in the mini-draft.You do realise, bulldogs have 2 picks in the top 10 dont you?
