Emma Quayle had Butcher at 5 in her 2009 phantom draft and Moore at 16(I think). She did not have Fyfe in her top 25. Pretty much everyone was guilty there.

Yeah but butch was badly injured that's why other clubs passed he could have been pick 1 before being injured. Same sort of thing with Robbie ,he did not drop to pick 50 something because he was a poor player, he only dropped that much because of injury. Big difference is at what we picked him up for it was no great loss of it did not work out unlike butcher. Your looking at picks 8 and 9 for no return. When your trying to rebuild and you get those high picks you have to get some return or you end up struggling like we are now. Throw in passing on Darling the next year and it has really hurt the club in going forward.

For mine more than the GWS game a couple of years back, that was only bad for our egos so to speak as we were there for the taking and they took us.
