I think they are using that pick for Cam McCarthy. They have pick 15, which would be enough for him.
It's time the club takes a risk with those kind of players.
Schoenmakers will play next year, Gunston is moving up the ground from what I can tell.Taking a look at the hawks' depth
Schoenmakers did his prospects no damage late this season. With Gunston & Roughead as first choice, and the hawks' rucks being good forwards, could be an option. Trading a premiership player is stiff though
Spangher will struggle to break into a backline with Lake, Gibson and Frawley (plus he has the blessings of the grand final gods)
Anderson - has pace, youth and potential on his side. Duryea has certainly taken his spot. Hill, Smith and Hartung will occupy the running midfielder spots.
Spangher in for Carlisle's spot (Hooker, Hurley and Spangher in defence)
Schoenmakers as a CHF with Daniher.

Why is this always ur answer? Pretty sure NLM has a family and plays footy in Shep. Why would he be willing to bring someone into his home that he possibly doesn't know ?????Make him live with NLM.
He didn't just skip it, his manager advised him not to attend and notified Richmond. What is the issue?Bennell missing medical, out with dusty. Reeks of Garlett.
Having said that will be cheaper by the day. Let's have a look

He went out, for his birthday. What is the issue?
Perhaps we should stop jumping at shadows.
Which confirms my point really... jumping at shadowsThis Information wasnt available when I posted 5 hours ago
Maybe the manager advised him not to because he wasn't in an appropriate state. Why else would they cancel it?He didn't just skip it, his manager advised him not to attend and notified Richmond. What is the issue?

AFL trades: Essendon ruck dilemma may be solved with Matthew Leuenberger and Zac Smith decide their futures
ESSENDON’s ruck dilemma may be solved this week as Matthew Leuenberger and Zac Smith make decisions on their futures.
The Bombers have re-signed Tom Bellchambers but are on the hunt for another prime big man to bolster their spine under likely new coach John Worsfold next season.
Brisbane’s Leuenberger, 27, will choose from the Swans and the Bombers, while Gold Coast Suns’ Smith, 25, is believed to be leaning towards either the Cats or the Bombers.
Leuenberger would be the priority for Essendon as he could leave the Lions for nothing under free agency rules, earning Brisbane a second-round compensation pick in return.
But Smith also has strong appeal and played the best football of his career under former Suns coach Guy McKenna, who is tipped to help partner Worsfold as part of Essendon’s new coaching setup.
An announcement on the new coach is set to be made in the next two days, with Worsfold expected to accept a minimum three-year deal to replace James Hird.
Essendon could use the second-round pick it will likely receive from Melbourne in exchange for Jake Melksham to pick up Smith from Gold Coast.
Smith played only 11 games this year but his supreme athleticism and running power makes him one of the most exciting young ruck talents in the game.
The Cats are also in the race for Smith to help support talls Rhys Stanley and Mark Blicavs.
But the Cats may run out of draft picks to trade as they try and squeeze in deals for Adelaide superstar Patrick Dangerfield and Carlton’s Lachie Henderson.
The Blues want a first-round draft pick for Henderson but the Cats may have to use this year’s top choice as part of a trade package for Dangerfield.
Ahhh Chris Dawes of heard of this spud, on the trading block is he, maybe Carlton would like him, i hear they have a thing for spuddy forwardsWhat's this I hear about Chris dawes being available??? Worth some thought.
When did he not follow the process? If you are a footballer and you are serious about starting at a new club then you should put the process before your birthday.
Heaps of possible reasons, but the fact is we don't know and everyone just assumes, as you are.Maybe the manager advised him not to because he wasn't in an appropriate state. Why else would they cancel it?
None whatsoever. What's this I hear about Chris dawes being available??? Worth some thought.
Might want to do some research on that.Would prefer Smith is younger and not injury prone.

I'll take the better one who also happens to be free.Well one of Smith or Leuenberger will be at EFC by the looks of it.
When did he not follow the process?
I'm not ready to condemn him for not attending the medical. The manager's statement doesn't clear everything up though.Heaps of possible reasons, but the fact is we don't know and everyone just assumes, as you are.
