I was watching Hawks Audi Player of the Month vid which Isaac Smith won . In Chris Fagan's presentation speech he mentioned some of the position's Issie has played, and I'm sure I heard him mention one of the position he has played was "chaos". Was I hearing things correctly? Anyone else pick up on that?
Edit: It's mentioned at about 1 minute mark.
Slobbo sat in the St Kilda coaches box a couple seasons ago and he remarked that they had position/role names that he'd never heard used before. So while the team sheets, footy discussions, AA teams and draftee categorisations are all in terms of traditional position names it's very likely that every club's coaching panel has a unique set of terms, role types and position names.

Surprised Smith was picked. I would have thought Gunston or Frawley would win it. Smith has been getting a lot of the ball and breaking lines, but has also made some bad mistakes with his ball use at times, too (he was probably Bog for us against Dee's, but otherwise he's been in mixed form imo - one of our better players but not as consistent as Chip or Gunner) .

Frawley was last month and they talked about Omith's turn around in form from the previous weeks.
He was also commended on his new found confidence for sledging

I must have missed Frawley's win - recall Stratts winning and drove the car in reverse much to the horror of the Audi guy who presented the keys to Stratts.

No you are right, it was Stratts

If someone has named an AA team to this point of the season without including Gunston and Rioli then they have no idea.

And Frawley.

We only need worry about Norm Smiths and Jock McHales. The rest is for minnows to squabble over.

But Omith said something to the effect that taking over from Frawley he hoped the rims were still in place.

Perhaps Chip won a month and it was not videod

It was an interesting (albeit small) insight into the language and different strategies employed at clubs these days.
I would love to spend a game in a coaches box. It would be a fascinating experience.

They really are sooks aren't they? Hawkins punched him deliberately in the face and not at all in the course of play. How many weeks would Hodge get for the same thing?
Porkins has been getting away with this for years. I recall him giving Stratts a pretty decent jumper punch to the chin and nothing came of it. Suck it up!!

My good thoughts and wishes go out to our Tassie brethren affected by the current flooding events. I imagine the Hawthorn Footy Club will play some sort of role in helping the recovery, especially in Launceston. Any locals care to comment on how Aurora Stadium may or may not have been affected by the deluge - given we play the Suns there in a little over 2 weeks time. :umbrellarain::umbrellarain::umbrellarain:

That's why I thought Frawley must of won it but the season only been going 2 months so maybe Chip collects Rims or loses his own regularly (like my daughter)

It's only a little surface water - should drain in a few hours - good to train on tomorrow.

Photo nicely shows the North Esk in flood on one side of the levee
Aurora looking lovely on the other side

My biggest prayer is for your great wineries.

I'm hoping to visit Joseph Chromy again in a few weeks - I pray that it is unaffected!

Yep heard chaos too.

Would be interested to know people's thoughts on what that would be.

I am assuming it's having no set position and just utilising his running strength to find space wherever or get to as many contests as he can.

???

I originally guessed it may have been when the opposition is dominating play and we need to nullify there dominance.
But I like your suggestion much better :thumbsu:
