Any chance Barlow#14 can move on and stop ruining what was once a reasonable thread?
Bro come join me and Dapperlong in the unpopular opinon thread main board.

All seriousness though, is great to finally have a prospect to talk about in these discussions. Hawthorn haven't had an abundance of young ready to go talent over the last few years.

mccluggage is another player around the 200k mark id consider to pick up.
His odds are bit short for the rising star so maybe not the best bet for a punt.

You sort of meant to allude...

You said BOG. Now you disagree with your own statement and say Treloar and Burgoyne were better?

Your epic melt in this thread has been great to read.

Burton looks like he will be a good player. At no time have I said otherwise. I said he was a regular run of the mill prospect which is exactly what he is at the moment, similar to Francis at Essendon, Wood at North, Weideman at Melbourne and many others from other clubs.

Enjoy the season. Have a coke and chill out. You would think your club has been s**t for a decade and just gone through an embarrassing drug scandal or something with how defensive you've been.

Welcome to the internet.

Actually these are great comparisons - all clubs would be excited with those players named. All raw - all have shown something.

But showing something too becoming a very good player is a long long road.

About Wood and Burton, im ultra impressed with both these kids on how quickly they develop an AFL Level fitness base after overcoming injury. Its going to be really interesting to watch them after a full preseason.

Cant falt your loyalty, helping a brother in need out.

Burton will win the rising star award. You heard it here 1st.

He might.

Hawthorn's list is so bog average that he's likely to be playing every week if he's fit.

Whereas other better players in stronger teams will have to spend some time in the twos.

Just popped a $50 note on Marchbank @ $34, seems good value for a third year player.

Did the same with Mills last year and riding that all year was fun, hopefully have the same result this year.
