Thankyou, it appears someone can read the OP for what it is, and it seems to have gone over so many (defensive) heads.
Yes some clubs did well, but to compare this crop with the best of the best, is just so overating it.
Mate you even fail at that, there are generally two ways of measuring the strength of a draft, how far the guns go early on, and it goes down to 7 (which is abnormally high) and how good the later picks are. Hill 61, Mackay 48, Reimers 47. If it's not a gun draft, it's pretty close. Infact most drafts these days are gun drafts because drafting is done so well. So yeah, it was a super draft. Anyway, they say that about every draft nearly but it is impressive that the past say five drafts have been very impressive.
And stop criticizing people rating something two seconds later as good two years later, great that you have hindsight, pity you can't realise how deep and how good this draft is. If some of the talls start to kick like Gumby and Leue (can't be bothered spelling his name, sorry lions fans) it will really be a great draft.
