Damage control.
You would really think Time would publish the letter if it was that damaging .

In messages to TIME after the Nunes memo was released, Page said that in the first nine months of 2013 he “sat in on and contributed to a few roundtable discussion with people from around the world.” He said the meetings started when one of Russia’s representatives was in New York at the United Nations. He provided an April 15, 2013, briefing document authored by Russian trade diplomat, Ksenia Yudaeva, on Russia’s priorities for a summit of the 20 richest countries in the world to be held in St. Petersburg in Sept. 2013. Page says he had subsequent similar meetings, describing them to TIME as “really plain-vanilla stuff.”

Says Page, “Does that make me an evil villain, as some of your sources would like to have you think?” Page has not been charged with any crimes.

They are going to need more than that to prove he was a spy.
I actually suspect He maybe the "FBI insider" on the Trump Campaign that Glen Simpson testified to the HPSCI about.

Lewindowski did correct the record as it was only a few days later He himself was let go and did not see/remember the email.
If he was an FBI insider why would they need multiple warrants?

That clip is fake news as is says that Page had meeting with Russian officials wheen He asserts that the closest he got to an offical was saying hello where the were both giving speeches.
"He asserts".

One moment you claim he's an FBI informant, the next he's an honest broker.

What he says is irrelevant.

MSNBC has cherry picked the testimony.
Yet you defend congressional Republicans and the Trump administration doing the same daily?

I'm not going to wade through 250 pages to find some hint of your conspiracy. The clip I posted was simply repeating the testimony that proved people in the Trump campaign lied about 1) knowing him & 2) that they knew he went to Russia. If the testimony proves something then post quotes. Cherry pick if you want.

Like most Trumpians you warp reality to eliminate doubt and then ignore provable facts that suggest there might be something to this.

Anything is believeable if that's the standard.

The FISA ‘warrant’ request, against Carter Page, was made October 21st, 2016, under Title I of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Meaning the surveillance application was specifically stating, to the court, the U.S. individual was likely an actual agent of a foreign government, ie. “a spy.
Because they are not supposed to surveill American Citizens without a warrant to comply with the 4th amendment.
They had a warrant

Page was forced to step down from the Trump campaign on the 26th September 2016 (because of news reports he was meeting with Russians).

“a spy.

From your ''Harvard Lawyer''

Title 1 allows not only surveillance of US citizen Carter Page (accused of being a foreign agent by the Clinton financed Steele Trump hating dossier), but also follow up surveillance of any of his direct contacts—the entire Trump team, irrespective of when Page stopped being a campaign advisor. Logic of FISA title one is simple—catch the entire spy network. Result is horrific. Any Page call or email to the Trump team exposed the entire Trump team to surveillance under title 1 of FISA. Really dirty. Trump’s wiretap tweet was correct. Admiral Rodgers only knew the lesser part of it.

Isnt this moot as Page no longer had contact with Trump , and as my Harvard Lawyer mate says , anything gained after Oct 21 should only have netted Carter Page and anyone he had contact with FROM THAT DATE.

Is it your contention Page was still in contact with Trump and his associates? ( ok exclude the Russian associates;) )

It's a cult of personality, they're like malevolent Dead Heads.

They had a warrant
Isn't it how they obtained the warrant that is at the core of this mess? Accusations of the Steele dossier as being at the centre of their evidence and lies by omission from those who signed on the application (Comey and McCabe ) and those the approved it (Rosenstein), correct?

As an aside didn't Comey deny, under oath, any knowledge of surveillance of Trump or was the deniability based on the use of the word "wiretapping"?

None of what you posted has been proven against Trump. I don’t trust him and suspect he could be guilty of some of the allegations. However, paying people hush money doesn’t imply guilt in the US. Jarryd Hayne will end up paying hush money to make the rape allegation go away. It doesn’t imply guilt!
But, lock her up, lock her up!!!

I responded to ' how can they surveill American citizens'' . The birth of it is up to others

I think there would be a defence by the echelon signatures that to oversee all the requests would slow the process of Government down to an extent that nothing could get done. (maybe thats a good thing I dont know) but the greater burden should be held by the creators/promotors of the document , if it is found to be created through corrupt means

Hey now, I’m going to need a poll from 400 odd people to confirm all these numbers.

Facts and all...

How did that article support your's and JD's argument that NFL ratings aren't down largely due to Kaepernick. The article supports what I was stating.
And once again, you seem to need to resort to lies to support your narrative. The poll I referenced had far more than 400 odd people ...
The survey, conducted from Dec. 8—11 of 2017, polled a national sample of 1,726 adults ages 18 and up. It found that 1,233 of those people identifed as football fans.

As I said, in typical Silver fashion, dismiss it as nonsense and ignore the facts.

Nope. That's why it was extended multiple times after Page left.

Check out what Snowden said about "Hops"

The warrant was issued under Title I

The end result is summed up here far better than I can

Hope this helps.
Can you explain why Page was under surveillance in 2013?

And I would be getting my lawyers to argue anything non-Page gained after that date is inadmissable. Its a win for the Trump team in my eyes

33% of 1233 fans in your silly poll said they now boycott NFL games = 407 people gave their reasons (you edited that out for some reason)

Maths not one your strong suits?

You didn’t answer what “Support of Trump” means for some reason...

To cover for the 702 "about Queries" that Admiral Rodgers stopped .

Sorry, you've lost me.

You're supposing a connection between two things that haven't been shown/proven to be connected.

Besides, even if there is a connection, isn't this just the normal operation of government (in this case in the context of surveillance laws)?

I responded to ' how can they surveill American citizens'' . The birth of it is up to others

Fair enough. I was asking a question to confirm my understanding.

I think there would be a defence by the echelon signatures that to oversee all the requests would slow the process of Government down to an extent that nothing could get done. Not sure I agree as the senior people are ultimately responsible for the work of their subordinates. Not sure they can step out of the line of fire on this (if there is one) and let the juniors cop it all.

True , but the seniors will get the slap , procedures and protocols will be changed and the creators will be the ones to be in the firing line ( if any)

I can't imagine there are too many Cold Warriors left in the American legislature but watching Republicans trying to ignore/defend allegations of Russian collusion is truly one of those I never thought I'd live to see the day moments.

What Trumpians will never discuss when giving Trump credit for driving down TV ratings (somehow in Trumpland that's a good thing), is the fact that all Network ratings are down. On average more than the NFL. This is the reason NFL advertising rates are still increasing as ratings decline.

The NFL are getting more of a smaller pie.

Most of the highest rated programs in the US are still NFL games.

In red states, where there should be more Trumpians, ratings have fallen less than in blue markets too. Ticket sales in places like Louisiana haven't been effected at all but in California they've dropped dramatically. The NFL moved two teams to LA and the ratings in LA actually decreased (not to mention a dramatic drop in San Diego & St Louis that lost teams).

Facts Trumpians. Facts.

Eugene would be truly in hell as the Devil puts the big screen TVs on for him

You said a poll from 400 odd people ... now you are changing the goal posts in typical Silver fashion to cover up your lies.
You and JD were wrong when you questioned my initial post. I doubt that you will admit that, but producing more lies in your defence does nothing ... you have already taken second prize Silver. The medals have been awarded.

Deflect, deflect deflect...

Last chance: 407 people in your silly poll gave their reasons to stop watching NFL, 32% of the 407 (130 people) said, "In support of Trump".
You still haven't answered what that means. Answer the question or acknowledge you don't know and move on.

You have a strange obsession thinking this is a competition, what's up with that? (Answer the supporting Trump question first before attempting the second one).
