That’s a dream place, forget about happy.I think poor old Darky is permanently stuck in his "happy place".
I thought you were playing us, not Essendank.I don't care who plays as long as we beat that bunch of egotistical, self righteous bunch of ******s
B: M Scharenberg (J.Sicily) L Dunn (J.Roughead) J Crisp (L.Bruest)
HB: S Murray (C.Rioli) J Howe (T.Obrien) D Moore (J.Gunston)
C: A Treloar (J.O’Meara) J Thomas (T.Mitchell) S Sidebottom (I.Smith)
HF A Fasolo (T.Duryea) B Reid (B.Stratton) T Phillips (D.Howe)
F C Brown (B.Hardwick) M Cox (J.Frawley) T Varcoe (S.Burgoyne)
Foll B Grundy (B.McEvoy) S Pendlebury (W.Langford) T Adams (L.Shiels)
I tried match-ups around the ground, not easy with both sides still having players in doubt.
Josh Thomas has been a serviceable player so far in his career but needs to go to another level for us to improve. I would tell him to follow Mitchell, be in his back pocket for most of the night, but he's playing well enough to find some of the ball.
If it pans out a little like above, I think we will be a good shot to beat Hawthorn for the second time in 8 years.

Scharenberg best 22 for you guys?
thought he emerged last yr.
Birchall and Langford injured now, just before the season.
Stunned the perfectness of Hawthorn has had such a setback.
I'd say that accurately reflects the team over the last 6 years. To be brutally honest I'm not expecting a win first round, Bucks has an extremely poor record in the first round. 2 wins from 6 starts and one of those wins was against perennial losers the Lions in 2015.
I have no answer to 'Why' this is the case, just an opinion he tends to reward players that have solid, non-interrupted pre-seasons.
No. Not best 22.Scharenberg best 22 for you guys?
