He compared it to anzac day and said noone cares about the good friday game. Learn to read, champion.Calm down, he said nothing about the Good Friday appeal or the importance of it. He simply pointed out that North, isn’t the correct club to carry the day & make the game into a blockbuster
Never know what you’re going to get when he crosses the white lineTo be fair he was very good in the first half.
More of a north-dog rivalry, well, we usually have good games against each other anyway, so plenty from both clubs and neutrals came out. I would still love to have the dogs on Good Friday, even if it is on a rotational basis.10,000 more attended the game last year, why is that?
It’s been a poor build list wise. Not nearly enough quality through the midfield.Ricoh may actually be the first coach to go. Could just be ahead of Bucks
He just rolls stones
Which is why I’m surprised so many write North off, even against sides like Melbourne and Adelaide last year.
We still have a lot of experienced heads on our list.
God I'd be embarrassed to be a Saints supporter...
If we carry on our round one form it’ll probably be a drawWe have nothing to lose, we are expected to get pumped
North can play finals and potentially go deeper.
Call me an idiot. Sure. But they’re a pretty good outfit when they want to be.
our best young mid was sent to sandy as richo preferred to play journeyman koby stevens as a tagger last week against zorko, then left him in again this week. god knows why. dunstan was our best player against north last year and best over our last 6 games last year. got 36 disposals this week. headscratcher. but that's richo. It’s been a poor build list wise. Not nearly enough quality through the midfield.
Just over 33K for a game on a public holiday when there is nothing else to do is just not good enough. Poor effort by both supporter groups.
That and the saints being heavy favourites, north’s form and season predictions would have put people off, plus it wasn’t its first year, so the novelty wasn’t there for neutrals.Subjective opinion, many Victorians continue the tradition to spend all day collecting on behalf of the RCH appeal, donating their day to charities/volunteer organisations or spending time with family. It might take a few years yet for Good Friday footy to really kick off IMO
