We don’t need Good Friday with * to make it a marquee fixture
They already have Anzac Day, Dreamtime, Contry game bullshit

Where’s the club showing some backbone
Guarantees us a full stadium Tazaa, and means it gets another year of life.
I get the concern - we don’t want it to become Essendon’s day - but it will help us build the momentum much more than a half-arsed StKilda.

It’ll be a success
There’ll be 50,000 there.
But what home game of ours against Essendon hasn’t been?
They way it’s going the game will be trialled against all Etihad tenants
If Carlton becomes competitive next year happy for it to settle on them

If we lose the Good Friday game, I will change religions. I'm serious. And I doubt I'll ever donate to the Good Friday Appeal again, despite having 8 significant pay increases over the last 20 years.
You guys invented Friday Night Football, which became a huge success not only here, but in the US, and now we cant even get a look-in on Friday nights. It reminds me of when Scotty W & I used to go fishing at Rocknest Island. We were the first guys to use pippies soaked in brine to catch Yellow-Bellies & Carp & even the odd Groper. But as soon as word got out that we were reaching our limit within 9-10 hours, everyone was doing it, and then the fish became immune to the stuff!!!!

Just lock the Scumdogs in ffs and stop ******* us around Gilligan.

7pt average margin over the last 6 games along with a 34000 average crowd for 2 club supporter bases who hate each other.

Just ******* do it you campaigner.

They need to take a leaf out of the Big Freeze game. There needs to be a focal point like that stupid ice slide or the ANZAC day minute silence, something outside of the game itself that attracts the theatre goers. They should also look at something along the lines of the beanie, if there was a commemorative scarf or tshirt more money could be raised and word would spread in the lead up as you see people about town wearing the item. The poppy has the same effect.
Yeah.... like nailing a bloke to a cross and......oh wait

I'm all for smashing these skunks in front of the entire viewing public.
Me too so long as they lock it in.

Sick of being ****ed around by the AFL.
