Does anyone actually believe next year in say round 12 we will be sitting here wishing Hannebery was back at the swans? I am comfortable saying no, he looks done to me.

I hope he proves me wrong if he stays and if he goes I hope he fades further

vandenBerg would be another in and under player would he not? I know he's been a mid/fwd role for Melbourne but he's a hard nut.

Clarke looks to be a gut running link up player so he'll play mid/wing and give us some run like Hanners used to.

Agree. Can be a bit of a liability down back with his disposal. Surprised North gave up on him as a mid by mid 2017 considering they aren't/weren't stacked with midfield depth. I'll be curious as to how he will go on a smaller ground. Is certainly an elite runner & ball magnet of note.

Needed a HB accumulator, he somewhat struggled in that role and we groomed Dumont for the outside mid role. A natural winger is his go, otherwise there's no point in picking Clarke up.

If we can get Berg with Langdon along with getting pick 39 and a future second rounder( i predict they will be bottom 4 2019) from the Saints this will be quite a good trade period for us.

So assuming Blakey doesn't go until pick 5, that would require us to use 1502.4 points after the 20% academy discount. Picks 33, 38, 40 & 69 cover that pretty much bang on.

That leaves 26 and 28 still to play with (assuming my brain is working).

As he's coming from Docklands to the SCG there won't really be a regular opportunity to witness this. Maybe just a couple of away fixtures each year?

I know, but there’s just something about Hanners he’s an absolute warrior and I feel like he’s the heart and soul of our club. There are plenty of other liabilities on our list, if we’re gonna keep one why not be the guy who’s been an absolute champion?

I like Langdon, but he plays one of the least valuable positions on the field (3rd tall defender) and giving up a high draft pick for him would be poor list management. Good addition at a reasonable price

I meant use in the draft or use for Langdon as an example but I didn't realise you have to use your next picks when matcing a bid. Ignore me then!

Sounds like he wants to come to us, Collingwood only showed up to with a contract last week

and we just got rid of our first

Could be something like:

Collingwood: Saints Future Second
Swans: Langdon (Maybe Pick 39 from the Saints as well)
Saints: Hanners

Maybe we could use our future 2nd for him and keep Saints future 2nd......

No idea what it will be though.
