Anyone seen Paperback Hero with Hugh Jackman and Claudia Karvan? That's a personal favourite of mine.

This points 2 him being gay
his wife is beautiful but he is gay
One of ozzie best actors ever but he never came out

Hats off to Hugh Jackman for arriving from stage with a bang. His first two film roles were co-leads in Erskineville Kings and Paperback Hero (both solid films which revealed his star qualities) and the next year he was playing Wolverine.

In his debut role in Erskineville Kings, he won Best Actor at the Film Critics Circle of Australia awards.

Agree the list is s**t. Gallipoli not there either. One of the greatest war films, ever.

When Gallipoli came out I was around 12 years old and saw it at a long gone cinema in Swanston Street with my Parents

To this day it’s the only movie I remember where when the House lights came up at the end, elderly men were sitting sobbing

Where's the Lord Of Rings Trilogy?

Anyways, I vote Bad Boy Bubby

Ten of my faves :

The Dish – the American National Anthem is one of my favourite movie moments
The Big Steal (Gordon Farkas – what a crackup)
Malcolm
Animal Kingdom
Death In Brunswick
Storm Boy
The Castle
The Fourth Wish – John Meillon fantastic in this
Crackerjack
Spotswood – stellar cast but Alwyn Kurts steals every scene he’s in

A couple of TV movies I liked a lot :

A Matter of Convenience (John Clarke & Debra-Lee Furness)

Valentine’s Day (ABC film with Rhys Muldoon).

My top 6 are probably not even in the poll.

Gallipoli
The Proposition
Getting Square
Two Hands
Chopper
The Bank

Honorable mentions: Fury Road, Wolf Creek, Breaker Morant

I haven't seen Looking for Alibrandi mentioned in this thread yet, not a bad little film most kids from the 90's would remember.
