I'd rather see a player they value in the mix. Feel like they need to lose something that is in their plans to compensate for someone who was in our future plans. Of course I'd just prefer we hang onto Papley and stick with whatever trading plans we had before this was announced.

I think despite all the usual media hype, having Carlton's first round pick next year will be a lot of fun.

Am on the fence with daniher (can see pros and cons), and will trust the club, otherwise, happy to work on building a strong midfield with a rock solid defense as our core stregnth. More than one way to win premierships. Worked for tiges before lynch, n prior to the dominant cats and eagles of the scarlett and judd eras.

Given it is now seemingly confirmed that Papley is indeed contracted for 4 more years. This is the kind of deal that would have me interested in talking to Carlton. Anything short of this, and forget it ... Id rather have papley.
