Good on him, but, even taking into account his recent improvement 2 would have been appropriately sufficient IMO.

Considering how much hate Plowman has received in recent months - This is music to my ears, I have always considered Plowman as an asset to our backline, Saturday's game confirmed that (being there was even better to witness it) people just seem to forget how important he is!

He's improved defensively too. For years he was always reasonable one-on-one, but he's rarely beaten in a marking contest these days. He has always had nous in spades, just needed a few years like any young player to grow into the player we all suspected he'd become.
