I’m really not inclined to do a sweetheart deal with St Kilda and not match. Under that scenario, we have to give up something other than Brad and I can’t see the value coming back being disproportionate enough to make it worth our while.

For me now, it’s match and the starting price is 17 + their 2021 2nd.

You are looking from a trade perspective - not an FA perspective. It doesn’t matter what the Saints get only what we get

So Crouch and 39 for 17 - still not good enough.

Would rather see Saints give Dunstan to Carlton (rumoured this morning) for Carlton pick 27 - we do the above deal and end up with 17 and 27 with 39 going back to Carlton

Yeah, if we redraft him do we have to match the triggers from St. Kilda? I thought we do. If we only had to match the base, that would be a huge benefit.

Taking him back in the ND or PSD would be the AFL's worst nightmare. The AFLPA would be up in arms and on the warpath quick smart. That would make them regret the Band 3 decision.
