Geelong - Too old, too slow?

A fit Cameron and Dangerfield will make a massive difference. But Geelongs bottom 6 are not very good (im comparison to other top 4 teams)

Danger and Cameron ain’t saving that outdated, slow game plan.

They’ll still win games on the back of talent alone but they’ll still get found by better sides at the end of the year. They need to change the system.

Not too sure about that. I think their personnel very much dictates them playing how they do.

Lot of big blokes and big bodies who aren’t too quick at ground level.

Could tell in todays game how much they needed more types like Isaac Smith to move the ball inside 50 with some purpose.

Well they will beat north and most likely west coast down in Geelong and be 4-2.

If they begin losing games at home to the likes of west coast, top 8 seriously in doubt.

They will get danger and Cameron into the side which will help, but they are terrible to watch at the moment.

As much as that would be amusing, I can’t see it. Especially with danger and Cameron to come in.

Yes. It’s gotten more complex with the sub, as it counts towards games played even if he’s not activated. Could mess around and make exceptions in calculations, but if a sub is activated in the last 10 minutes, does it really make a measurable difference?
