AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
In a way, I am happy we don't have any media sycophants. Ralph and Caro have come across as completely spiteful and slimy.
Doubt we can trade up. I would go with Tarrant for CCJ as a straight swap.As soon as I read that article, I was like WTF?
If those scenarios have been thrown up, this should go through:
Tarrant + #38 + #69 for CJJ + #28
Otherwise
Pick #1 PSD = CJJ
You still need to exchange picks, can't just swap players.Doubt we can trade up. I would go with Tarrant for CCJ as a straight swap.

Why not?You still need to exchange picks, can't just swap players.

So we started with Dimma joking he wanted pick 1
Then they were playing hardball demanding pick 20
Now its something between 20-38.
This is getting better the longer we wait.
It's amazing how the media narrative can be crowbarred to fit the situation. All the talk is about Richmond playing hardball and how both clubs need to work together to protect Richmond's FA compo. They arbitrarily decide for themselves that pick 20 is about fair and then use that as the point at where negotiations will move from, not sure that's how NM see it!Whole lot of bluster in the media about us accomodating Richmond so they don't lose this compo and get this and that and the other.
North have said nothing and more to the point, were not whining in the media when we allowed BB to go OOC last year.

If it were exactly the same situation but the clubs were reversed, you could easily see the narrative being, NM haven't got a leg to stand on, they lowballed CCJ with a two year offer, when clearly he deserved more, Richmond have offered him a fair contract and with the PSD a real possibility and NM clearly not valuing him, they will have to accept whatever is offered or lose him for nothing.
I’ll have you know I have a 100%* strike rate for trading. There's going to be melts on both sides of Bigfooty once this trade is completed.
Bigfooty group think and actually reality are very rarely the same.
It’s up to Richmond too if he ends up in the PSD.A neighbour of mine who is a Tigers fan and potentially has a degree of ITK told me Richmond know they really don't have any leverage in the trade so have been threatening CCJ's manager that if he ends up in the PSD then all his other Richmond clients will terminate his services.
Before even factoring in the PSD leverage... If Richmond are that angry about it (and I'm not saying they're not) why did they only offer him a two year contract? I get the argument if we offer 4 years, we should pay a fair price for a player we value, but the counter is also true, if they only value him for a 2 year contract, how can they expect a huge price? (I remember the media trotting that out a fair bit about us trading Brown last year!)A neighbour of mine who is a Tigers fan and potentially has a degree of ITK told me Richmond know they really don't have any leverage in the trade so have been threatening CCJ's manager that if he ends up in the PSD then all his other Richmond clients will terminate his services.
what rotten bad luck that would be for the manager, send Brady Rawlings a box of tissuesA neighbour of mine who is a Tigers fan and potentially has a degree of ITK told me Richmond know they really don't have any leverage in the trade so have been threatening CCJ's manager that if he ends up in the PSD then all his other Richmond clients will terminate his services.
You’d have to think if that actually happened it would be one of the bigger scandals of recent years. Club blackballing an accredited player manager working in good faith?A neighbour of mine who is a Tigers fan and potentially has a degree of ITK told me Richmond know they really don't have any leverage in the trade so have been threatening CCJ's manager that if he ends up in the PSD then all his other Richmond clients will terminate his services.
I think your neighbour is fantasising.A neighbour of mine who is a Tigers fan and potentially has a degree of ITK told me Richmond know they really don't have any leverage in the trade so have been threatening CCJ's manager that if he ends up in the PSD then all his other Richmond clients will terminate his services.

Go to the TLA Worldwide website, and look at the array of talent they manage across the league... there is no way known they will effectively black ban TLA in retaliation for losing one 9-game player.
P.S. This strategy would involve telling Trent Cotchin who is allowed to represent him...
Why isn't this just 38 + Taz for CCJ? It could get done day 1 and we start trade period as a destination club with pick 1 in both drafts.

You'd think a few competition lawyers would be rubbing their hands together with glee if the tuggers tried to pull that stunt. You’d have to think if that actually happened it would be one of the bigger scandals of recent years. Club blackballing an accredited player manager working in good faith?
(well, as good faith as these snakes are capable of)
