Essendon gifted 3 Friday Night's in a row

Agreed. Not that long ago my team were awful and looked like they weren't trying. At least the Bombers look like they care.

Maybe they will try a different game plan now that Harry Jones is back. He looked awesome in the first half last week.
Jones is one.
Langford is super important as well as the link between fwd line and midfield.
Snelling is our sole small forward these days too. So getting him in will help.

Those 3 + stringer getting the dust of the engine should mean in 2-3 weeks time we'll be better.

will wager we'll be a bit better too.

slowly getting forward line personnel back. Which in turn should mean we're leaking less and ideally scoring more.
Parish injury might be a bit of a blessing too. We haven't worked out how to get him and Shiel playing the same midfield. Both seem to be better when the other isn't in the side.

we might even be novel and try playing a CHF and CHB this week
Surely Hurley is not back?

nah. he'll get a send off game at some point (maybe rd23)

CHB would be bringing Zerk-Thatcher in as FB and letting Laverde go to HBF & Reid to CHB
CHF would be Stewart in as deep forward and Wright being able to play CHF and more up the ground.

Spine could go Zerk - Reid - Draper - Wright - Stewart vs. Reid - Laverde - Draper - Jones - Wright

tbf no one predicted Essendon to be this crap when they gifted us 3 Friday nights in a row

They really could have given these are the floating fixture rounds announced on April 28th at which point Essendon was 1 - 5

This was the entire point of the floating fixture. Look how teams are going and get the best teams in key timeslots.

People are somewhat neglecting that the WCE v ESS game is only on FTA in WA and will overlap with the other Friday night game starting earlier on Foxtel, so it's not really a prime-time slot at all.

Both the STK and WCE games are Essendon away games also.
