I really liked Murray’s work in ruck. He’s so mobile when the ball hits the ground.

Don’t reckon Murray lost a Contest all day down back either , he can be at least as good as Harto as that 2nd shut down tall

His kick has good penetration too if he keeps it simple

No need to spend capital on a trade for a key defender , happy with more depth though with a later pick

Fog outstanding, Tex Ok as well.
Another good Dawson game, believing the swans supporters now that we stole him...meh you deserve it for the part you played in Tippetgate
Team did what they had to

Bad
beat ourselves sometimes and made North look competent in patch's.
Consistency still an issue but at least we kicked more goals than points in an open ground.

Real Bad
North.

Liked the ruck work but we would get opened up in defence against a strong midfield, risky thing to do unless you play 3 talls in defence

-Fog has now had a month of very good games.

• Schoenberg had a much improved second half
• Berry is a tackling machine, as is Laird.
• Dawson is just so good
• Jones as sub was very good. Straight in next week.

Bad
-Hamill getting concussed again
-The standard of game

Ugly
-North. Yuck.

The good.

Im reluctant to give too much in the good column. Because frankly, this wasn't that impress and North are a literal basket-case. Half the players look disinterested and at times they moved the ball with ease against us.

But good:
Murray in ruck. The way he moved in chasing the ball and breaking packs open, could we build up his fitness to become a big bodied pinch hitting mid.

The meh:
the whole performance was meaningless. endeavour really was what one us the game. skills were poor, players were inconsistent. I'd give Berry credit for the tackles but when you are playing against disinterested players barely moving faster than fat unfit witches hats its hard to give him much credit. But at least he is consistent.

Until we show anything against good teams we are doing nothing.

The Bad:
McAdam has become too interested in taking the spectacular mark than actually doing anything else.

The Ugly:
The fact the club will use this game to wall paper over the cracks and use it as some example of heading in the right direction.
