Speaking of VAR, would like to know how this is deliberate handball...

Not sure if this applies, the video is blocked now, but if it leads directly to a goal (or assist?) The rules say it doesn't matter if its deliberate or not, it's ruled out.

So you can get a situation where the defender could accidentally touch the ball with arm and its ok, the attacker does it and its a free.

What a cluster* the authorities have made of a simple rule.

Does anyone else think that this is an incredibly long debate over a penalty that wasn’t given, which could have made the score 4-0 if it was given?
Haaland would have been one closer to Dixie Dean's record. :D

Some wonderfully dog s**t fixturing coming up this weekend.

Play Newcastle on Friday night and then play Southampton on Sunday afternoon. Bravo.
Thursday night I think.

Liverpool out of reach now, still a massive effort, considering the hole Gerrard put us in

If Utd were to win FA Cup as well as LC and quality for CL does that mean 5/6/7/8 all qualify for Europa as the winner for both cups is in CL? West Ham could win conference league also meaning they qualify for Europa. Not sure if that affects qualification from league position.

19 teams in every premier league season are pretty much “failures”. It’s always hard to compete with a side like city that has remarkable depth and top coach. That squad is also far more experienced than Arsenal and have been in the trenches enough to know how to win. Can’t really be too upset.

Allocation as it stands:
Champions League: Arsenal, Manchester City, 3, 4
Europa League: 5, 6
Europa Conference League: 7

If Man United win both cups and finish top four:
Champions League: Arsenal, Manchester City, 3,
Manchester United
Europa League: 5, 6
Europa Conference League: 7

If Man United win both cups and finish 5th or 6th:
Champions League: Arsenal, Manchester City, 3, 4
Europa League: Manchester United, 5 or 6
Europa Conference League: 7

As West Ham will not qualify for Europe domestically, England would have eight teams in Europe next season -- even if West Ham were to be relegated.

Good article about it here:

Indeed Friday 4:30am here.

Trying to cram all of our postponed fixtures into the last few weeks when we didn't play a game after the 19th of Feb until the 1st of March seems avoidable.
When else are you going to play them? They'd rather go up against the Europa conference league than Champions League.

I'd say at this stage Newcastle, Brighton, Villa, Brentford and Fulham haven't been failures this season.

I just listed a period where we didn't play a game for over a week.
Yes and? City had a game every three days already then. Newcastle had the league cup and they wanted to be fair to them and United. You seem to get so wound up about things that are easily checked
