I expected us to be 2-6 over the first 8 rounds with 4 interstate games. Pretty great to be 5-2-1 and 5th on the ladder. None of us expected that at the beginning of the year. Onto GWS who are gettable at home.

We were better last week but credit to the Eagles, they fought.

Yep, couldn't believe we could let that happen.
Overall, happy to get the 4 points, pretty happy with our first half, not so much the second. We seemed to lack run and to be reacting slower later in the game. Even though we had the longer recovery time, reckon Anzac Day may have taken a bigger physical and mental toll than we may have expected.

Duz wore Reid, Yeo and Kelly at times tonight. I thought Yeo quietened him but he started to find the ball again against Kelly. Parish is hitting form at the righg time and hopefully Calders' calf isn't too bad, but we need Setters available for when Duz is quiet or absent.
