It peaked at a 12-13 win type of side.

They need to recruit some senior players who are leaders and know how to win.

Mate I have provided about 100 posts about what I put the end of last year down. And the issues still haven't been rectified.

The midfield continuously gets sucked into the contest and we allow for easy exits from stoppage to our opponents. The nunber of times I saw Sidebottom by himself at the back of stoppage was astronomical. I've been saying for ages and I haven't seen any change. Tim Clark is genuinely stealing a wage.

So it's a tactical issue around contests, primarily?

So it's a tactical issue around contests, primarily?

I think it is one of the major reasons we have struggled. As evidenced by us going from 1st in defending stoppage in 2023 to 16th in 2024. And it hurts us offensively. Because even if we win the stoppage all of our midfielders are around the ball with no one spreading from the stoppage. So we are forced to kick it under pressure rather than handball it out to someone on the outside who can spread further giving us cleaner entries i50.
