Poulter went at 47% and 4 turn overs against GC Bramble was 69% and 3 turn overs

Very unfair to judge him on 1 game in very tough conditions. Hell even Bont had 7 turnovers in Darwin which is almost as many as he's had in every other game combined (8). We had 16+ more turnovers at TIO than we did last night, or vs Port in Ballarat.

Bevo used to always give players at least 2 games in the seniors before dropping them because it's such a big jump coming from the VFL. So I just think his VFL form has warranted at least 1 more game to see if he's up to it.
His 26 disposals 3 goal game was better than any game Bramble has played in the VFL. There's also upside to consider with Poulter being only 22 yrs old whilst Bramble's 27yrs old.

I would be backing West to do the job on Stewart if Stewart plays. West is very good at playing on the intercepting defender as a defensive forward and has limited players like Stewart in the past.

The thing that’s dropped off are his reaction times. He struggles anytime the heat is on.

He’s been poor at AFL level for significant amount of time to suggest the game wasn’t a 1 off for him

He like Baker like McComb before him is a good VFL player and not good enough at AFL level

Its not a defence when that was the specific game the poster was referring too.

Poulter like Baker are break glass we are down to a few.

Discussion about Poulter replacing Bramble makes as much sense as discussing Garcia replacing Duryea.

Poulter is an option to replace either a wing or half forward but is not better than those already playing there.

Baker would be the one to replace Bramble and he is clearly not an upgrade.

If the MC believes Jacques is ready he can be a replacement for Bramble or Duryea.

If Dolan was getting the football he would be a replacement be Jones. He did not play well in the VFL so that would be a hunch

Started in defence as he has been since Darcy went down.

Bramble came on as the sub - hence we had one defender too many.

Wing is far his best position imo.

Coffield is surely nowhere near it right now. Would be a major shock if he played in the next month or so.

I quite like Coffield but Cleary has pretty much taken his place. Very similar type with a more reliable body.
