Ok I watched it. I actually don't think it was too bad. They threw A LOT of pressure at us. If you had have told me at the start of the game their pressure game would be that high I'd have pencilled us in for a loss.
Mid forward connection however is the pits.
They certainly are.last 3 games against the pies:
7 point loss
35 point loss
1 point loss
Probably due for a flogging tbh![]()

Yep.I can't remember the last time where we had a awful quarter (2nd) and we took it, and never gave up.
Almost like "throw anything at us and we wont give up". Give us 270+ pressure, lay 92 tackles, doesn't matter we will keep going.
That's the most impressive thing about the win. A scrappy but Shinboner win.

Sorry, Jack DarlingAnyone calling for Darlings head recently needs to apologise, he was epic.

I was on the level 3 wing. They dominated that level and to a slightly lesser extent level 2. Was staggered, really. We had a great showing in an away game against the Dogs, and then that Sydney game happened a few weeks later. Ah well. Can only give kudos for turning out, I sposeI'm not sure it was that lop-sided, I reckon there was more of us than them. But plenty of ours left from half time onwards.
I'm in aisle 31 normally, so I can't see what's above me and the Swans may have dominated that.
Two things. Pink didn’t have to body Lynch out of the way because Lynch was too busy throwing himself into the air to get a free kick. And the “controversial” non OTB call in the last quarter wasn’t any more controversial than the ridiculous one that was called against LDU earlier the game when he was clearly passing the ball to a teammate running ahead of him and it bounced the wrong way.
Yep.
I know they're a lower ladder side as well but they threw everything they had at us and we still held on. That is something the boys needed to do imo.
Yep. I love that they fought this win out.The win will have tons more impact than that melb win.
We haven't given up in any game in the past month. The more we do this the more it becomes a habit!
Carlton absolutely went to water and never made it back after the Tiges did the same thing to them. We've been tough this last month. Skill errors and forward entries really let us down.
Watching the end of the game back, there isn't a whole lot of visible jubilation at the siren. There's a bit of hugging and whatnot, but the looks on their faces suggest they know it was a pretty ordinary final three quarters. Suggests to me that they're inching, inching towards being normal footy players again. A state of being where a win is no longer cause for the 80-year old wine bottles to be cranked out and sight is lost of the trajectory they're trying to attain, because **** everything, we finally won a ****ing game.
A good sign imo

Agree. The value of persistence is being recognized. Pink persists. Hardeman persists. Daniel persists ( he should be cut some slack because teammates give him the ball in horrible positions and expect him to create a miracle albeit the odd one gets effed up.)Yep. I love that they fought this win out.
It's not just the bump.. it's the ability to trap the footy from going over the line as well. **** I love him
