They really are not. Both are a tier below. Martin was great, for around 2 seasons in his career, and Pendlebury's ceiling was not as high, but he has been at his own ceiling for seemingly longer than the Rolling Stones have been touring.

Martin was great in 2023 even after the kidney injury but was cooked in 2024

I would take Pendlebury over Martin simply because while Martin's best was better you did not see it anywhere near enough, Pendlbury's longevity is insane, I still don't think either can hold a candle to either Ablett or Franklin.

Ablett, Franlin, Scarlett and Cox to me are the standouts for their respective positions of the 21st Century, so who you go for very much depends on your teams need.
