Nash will play midfield on Dawson. The question is whether they bring in Chol. A few of these talls are quite mobile too which could make it a difficult matchup.
Hard to imagine them having all of Chol, Dear, Gunston and Lewis on the ground at the same time

Unless Chol is relieving Meek in the ruck

With the form Curtin is in, if they use Nash to tag Dawson I would rotate Curtin into the midfield and send Jordy forward to negate the tag.

It's almost unfair to have Curtin and Dawson in the same team. Or at least it will be going forward
Was thinking the same, but just swap them out from the wing

How nice is it that we have 2 dawsons in our team now.

Murray (195cm) - Nash (198cm)
Worrell (195cm) - Lewis (199cm)
Keane (194cm)- Dear (195cm)
Hinge (can play tall) (187cm) - Gunston (193cm)
Bond - Watson
Muzz - Lewis
Keane - Dear
Worrell - Choi if he plays
Hinge - Gunston otherwise Worrell if Choi doesn't play

Not worried if they go tall.

Nash likely to tag Dawson as a midfielder.

Looks like the Hawks will play all four talls, but Sam Mitchell said one will be on the bench at all times unless a blood rule or something

Mail says

Out ; Michaelanny (inj) , Laird (rest)
In ; Bond , Smith

Would be disappointing, have we forgotten that Nank can play pretty good footy behind the ball and doesn't rely on kickouts to generate 1/3 of his stats. What Smith brings is etched in stone, he's plug and play if injuries necessitate. I can handle and understand that Milera was preferred to Nank, what I can't work out is how Nank has lost his place in the small/medium defender order purely because he's barely passable on a wing or ahead of the ball. It's decisions like this that limit our total performance.

ASSUMING IT'S TRUE. But with Smith as the non-playing emergency last week, it's pretty clear that Nank has either been eliminated from the defensive depth chart or stupidly been surpassed by Smith, who has no future and hasn't once performed better than what Nank did last year.

Any reason that you’ve heard why Cumming’s still out?

Laird’s gotta be more than a ‘rest’ in such a clash

I reckon last week I heard Cumming described as 'leg soreness', which I took to be general soreness, but associated more in the legs, so a bit of a rest for weary legs. Perhaps it was calf awareness and requires another week.

And resting Laird in a top 3 shaping clash with Eagles the week after when we're missing Cumming and Max seems very strange. I mean where's the respect to the opponent. There's a few posters in here that will need counselling if the teams are announced and the word 'managed' appears next to Laird's name.
