Does Humphrey get one of the Malls Balls? We need to talk about the real big move to adelaide
What a time to be a Saints supporter. The morning after a close win feels like a loss and we’re all back to doomsday

Haven’t seen many suggest Nas homesickness is due to poor management by the club. Not at all, I just don't believe everything nobody's put on X. Happy to create a post on there about NVM staying if it will make you feel better ?
Somehow NAS wanting to go home is 'complete mismanagement' by the club. We should of repeatedly belittled the importance of family in his life to show him just how professional we are. shrug
My overanalysing of the interview is this... Decision has been made. If he doesn't sign next week personally I think we're cooked.
If he does nominate then we need to demand at least two current top ten picks. It is on the SA club to satisfy us. The trade itself will get very very ugly and unfortunately it will be very stressful for Nas.
I don't think there's as much in the interview pointing to him leaving as others say, but it does seem to me that something is happening. Our season ends in a week and I suspect we find out very soon.
This is the StKilda versionWe need to talk about the real big move to adelaide
600k (plus incentives) isnt that much over afl average with the new cba.
Are watching Port! NOSo we all expecting Nas to leave yeah?
I would be concerned if its a cent over that figure and I wouldn't want to pay more than a very late second rounder
Leaky AF. Was terrifying every time it went down there. Camaniti bad, Stocker has struggled since coming back from injury. Tauru has gone very quiet - seems to have lost confidence. I support playing Trav down there in these dead rubbers, but he's clearly there to learn. If we're serious about having a crack next year, I think we need to retain Doogs, even with Leek coming in.
He's not worth more than a third rounder other than our outrageous wage offer.
There would be very few who know.Just got back from a long walk. Was listening to Carlton Port on MMM.
BT, Brayshaw, Smith and Kate McCarthey all doubled down on how confident Joey was yesterday. Almost as if he knew something.
Interesting, so you believe if NAS was to leave his prime motivation for doing so was poor negotiation management and not a desire to be close to family ?Haven’t seen many suggest Nas homesickness is due to poor management by the club.
I’ve seen it suggested the negotiation management may have been butchered (which is pretty speculative) and if that’s the case then they should be sacked but that’s not the same thing.
Might have to pull out of the Aleer trade.
He got beaten by Jye Farrar today & GWS won.

Schoey not showing lockdown capabilities though.I dont rate him at all, we would do better playing Shoenmaker in the role. Another Gubby Allan special, if Aleer is the best key defender he can find we are in serious trouble.
The bulk of our last 2 drafts played AFL last night.Just watching sandy. I’m not sure I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I doubt he's pulling a Ross Lyon on everyone. His manager would know.Apparently everyone is SA knows Nas is going to Port, and nobody at Saints or his manager know, if that’s true, massively poor form from the kid, and I doubt it’ll be a happy farewell if that’s the case
Afl needs to have a very good look at compensation should Naz choose to leave. Right now they have a two tier comp, with the season done and dusted for atleast eight teams way too early. Interest drops off, so do ratings and attendances - people eco and go do something else with their time. It should set off alarm bells at HQ. Teams like saints need to be very well compensated, atleast to make the AFL remotely interesting . Right now we have clubs, "playing the kids" or playing for draft pics rather than focussed on winning. After all it's entertainment they are spruiking
